Should I get a bike?

So, I was at Target (when I am not at Marshall's, you can find me at Target), and they have tons of bikes there. I have visions of me and DH going on bike rides during the summer...But I don't know if it is one of those things people buy and never use! Anyone own bikes and actually use them? I am thinking just riding around the neighborhood, not mountain biking.

DH and I have mountain bikes - we use them all the time, especially this time of year. Mostly we just go around the neighborhood or to the local park, but sometimes we head out to some off-road trails. We have a blast together! Do it!!

We have them, Mr Boots was an avid mountain biker, and I fell in many sticker bushes... but we haven't gone in 2 years.

We're planning on doing trails this summer. If you just want it for around the neighborhood, leisurely rides etc... get one from Target.

If you have any questions about brands or something, let me know. Mr Boots used to run the pro shop at a bike store.

Yes, I have a hybrid bike. I can't go with Phil bec he says I am too slow.

I'm not sure that's a good idea...getting Greg on a bike on a Saturday morning all hung over and stuff

My parents bought bikes a few years ago and actually spent one summer riding quite a bit. I know when DH and I had a share in a house at the Jersey shore, we used to love to bike ride around.

LOL is that considered drunk driving? Maybe we could go after work--he usually gets his drink on during the weekend!

we had mountain bikes and use to ride on trails all the time. Until they were stolen. then we bought cheaper ones, stolen as well. We will wait until we move out of this hell before buying another set.

My bike is hanging upside down on a hook in the garage and has been since about four years ago when Tim tried to kill me by making me ride around this hilly neighborhood!!!

We just bought bikes. We love them. We got them at brands and they are a hybrid. We ride them around the neighborhood (my secret way of checking out real estate). We also go on the Bethpage Parkway trail. Best investment. Go for it!

We both have bikes. Don't use them as much as we'd like, but do use them. Love taking them down to Long Beach Boardwalk...hate those stupid people who stand right in the middle of the boardwalk meant for bikes only...
