FH REALLY wants these for the wedding.. We've had mixed opinions as to whether its cute or tacky. I really want to get him SOMETHING... so what do you think? tacky or cute? Whos really gonna see them?

What type of tux is he wearing? If he is going ultra formal like tails or some modern long coat, I would say no. If he is wearing a very traditional tux, sure, if he likes them.

I agree, if he wants them get them! Whenever Darren wanted something for the wedding I would get it for him since he did not ask for many things specifically.

He'll be wearing a regular tux, with a regular tie (not bow tie) and vest.

LOL sorry i should have phrased it differently.
Like someone said... he hasn't asked for much this whole wedding process... And at first i didn't like them... but if it makes him happy, id like to do it for him. I can't buy him much so i thought this would be a nice token. (only $28).
and of course i left my wallet at home. Their shipping is super fast though since they are in NYC. FH got the groomsmen gifts from there too. Really cool stuff!

If HE wantes 'em...get 'em....we wore matching sneakers and people thought that was wierd/tacky....the crowd loved it!!

I say yes. My husband got all his groomsmen their favorite sports team cufflinks as part of their gift. They all wore them that day. Nobody would actually even realize they're there anyway.

If he really likes them i say to get them reguardless of if they are tacky or not.. The happier he is the better things go, beleive me. My Fh wanted to arrive to the church in a strech PT cruiser that was purple with flames on the sides. Now that is tacky. I being the good FI went around to find him this but the only ones around were booked for our day. He was so happy i looked into it for him that he didn't complain about my latest shopping spree.

I say go for it. I had a friend who got married and his yalmuke had the Yankees symbol on it, as did their ice carving!! It was cute! Those are both a LOT more obvious than the cufflinks.
