but should we both be there? I wasn't sure...and it is at 12:30 so I would have to take a day off....couldn't do a half day....

I went but it was a Saturday morning. It wouldn't have mattered if I went or not. DH did most of the listening. You don't have to go.

Frankie was there for most of ours and then I showed up after work to be honest I didn't understand all of it. Our engineer was really nice and explained it in layman's terms for me, but you really don't have to be there unless of course you want to visit your house again.

I went to our inspection and talked to the homeowner the whole time as well as took lots of pictures! I only spoke with the inspector for like 2 seconds! FH spoke with him at length at the end regarding his findings though.
