We are having our wedding at an out of town chapel. It holds 60 people. With all our family, we had to cut all friends but 4. So I obviously cannot invite all my friends to the shower and not the wedding. Most of my family and most of my friends live in another state. If I have one it will most likely be 6-10 people. Any ideas what I should do?

How about a small luncheon at your house or one your bm's. Invite just immediate family and the four friends.

I read somewhere that if you are having a very small wedding, you can have a shower with all of the people that you would have invited if you could have as long as they know that your wedding is for immediate family and that they will not be invited. Does that make any sense?
