I hope this is not a silly question, but I thought it was best if I have them so I could get measured appropriately. Am I right??

Yes, you do need them. My first fitting is next week and I bought shoes yesterday to bring with me.

ARen't you also supposed to have your undergarments as well? What if you're changing shoes?? do you get measured in the shoes you wear for the ceremony or the ones you change into??
