Almost 3 years and almost 2 kids later, I found my big pile of wedding cards in a box in the basement. Should I do something creative with them? Anyone have any ideas without it being too time consuming? LOL! I'm still trying to finish our honeymoon album and get my son's album current (I havent even started either but I have such ambitions)
Or should I just toss them???

Liz, I am no help whatsoever b/c I'm having the same dilemma....I recently unpacked a ton of my bridal shower gifts for the first time and I am now saddled with the same question - should I just toss them, or save them and do something creative.
And - I'm right there w/ya regarding the baby's album Our 'babies' are almost TWO!

If the cards are not in your way, I say, dont thorw them out. If you do not have room for one more thing in your house, then ditch them!!
You cant throw away all of your memories!!

The hatbox I made was really easy - it was just a matter of cutting some of the cards (not the sentimental ones) and gluing them down. I was done in a few hours!
I just came across mine also - I was thinking of tossing the ones from people that we hardly know and keep the special ones from close family & friends and put them in a keepsake box or something with an invite, program, etc.

Don't ditch them just yet...look at that hatbox Teri made...it's so cute...I think I'm going to steal the idea and make one for myself. If I do this with the cards, it will stop me from feeling so guilty...and I'll feel so proud of myself that I've made those cards have more meaning now.

I did the same...actually Teri stole the idea from me who I lifted it from Stef's original idea....
Everyone who sees this loves it and I actually think it makes a nice memory of all the great cards I received.
