should I leave?

should I leave?

I had a small civil ceremony in '06, but I made him put in the vows that I could still have a big wedding when we could afford it. Well now we are planning our big day for 2011.

I know this site can be very helpful for brides, because I work in a bridal shop. My question is, do you think it's inappropriate for me to be here? Is there a conflict of interest? I don't want to advertise for the shop, I want to participate like any other bride. But I don't know if it is weird to answer questions here because I'm a professional.

I don't see why that would be a conflict.

Congrats! As long as you're not using this as a platform to advertise your store, I don't see a problem! Happy planning!

No need to leave- You are a bride to be just like the rest of us regardless of where you work.

I think there´s no reason for you to leave. It would actually be interesting to hear your answers (or read them ) since maybe you´d look at it from a different angle.

Welcome to the site and I´m glad you get to have the wedding you want!!

One of our 09 brides who just got married - MrsDrinkH20 - works in a bridal salon and participates just fine, without plugging herself or her store. So yes, it can be done, and quite nicely too

Enjoy!

It's fine as long as you don't place advertisement for your workplace. The admins will remove your account if that happens. This site is really good for your wedding planning. It helped me a lot when I was planning my wedding. Hopefully, everything will help you stay focus and organized with your wedding details. Best wishes!!!

Why thank you! No need to leave...I just try to refrain from posting about the store or my job....keep it about YOU and YOUR WEDDING and not your job and then you are ok! If someone asks a question and information from work can help, I usually FM so as not to advertise or seem like I am plugging myself or my job! HTH
