So I was thinking...i got my weddings dress because I love it! But, in the store I tried on a size 10, I am really a size 2. They pinned it to fit and it looked great. But when it comes in in my size is it going to look/fit differently then what I saw when I tried it on? Experiences please!

I had the same thing happened to me. I sample I tried on was like a size 12. When it came in I realized it was actually a mermaid cut. I thought it was an A-line dress because they didn't pin the hip area. Don't worry, I'm sure your dress is beautiful and you'll love it when you do get it. I actually liked the mermaid cut on me. I would've never pick one out, didn't even try one on but I loved it.

I think as long as you what the style of the dress is supposed to be you'll be fine..i wouldn't stress

My skirt has a few pickups in it so I knew it wasn't going to be a surprise mermaid style or anything.
Same thing with me- I'm a 2 and the sample was like a size 16 or something. But it came in PERFECT- it looks 100x better in my size then clipped up! Don't worry!

This also happened to me - don't worry, the size they order for you will be smaller, and then they will do alterations on top of that. I have now already had one fitting and the dress is terrific! It fits very well. It is sometimes hard to visualize when the sample is really the wrong size.

you shuold be fine. I think almost everyone on here will or has gone through the experience of trying on dresses that were 5 sizes to big for them.

It will be fine! I tried mine on in a size 10 in ivory and i ordered a 6 in white and it was perfect! It will actually look better then the way it looks now.

i tried on a 10 i think and my dress is a 4 and it was a pretty much perfect fit- well in the middle. i tried on all sizes. Don;t worrry, the bridal people know what they are doing!
