Hey everybody, Ok here's the deal....I was engaged about 3 years ago and my bm's bought their dresses for $150. I was able to pay back 2 of the people , but not several others.
So, now here we are again 3 years later. We were thinking of using the same dress, but now we're afraid it is way too summery for an October wedding. If I choose a new dress, should I (or do I have to) pay for the dresses?

I voted to keep that dress. I think that dress would be very good for an October wedding, although you might consider doing some kind of wrap for the girls in case of a chilly afternoon. Many girls who marry these days use orange as one of their colors, so you are ahead of the game. Those are pretty dresses too! That's my 2 cents!

I think you should stick with the original dress. It's a great color for October, and it saves you and everyone else the hassle of having to find a new dress to agree on, picking the color, and then everyone finding the time to go and get fitted.

That would make a nice fall dress - and you can really play it up w/ some nice colored flowers! I vote keep it!!

I definitely think you should keep the original dress. When I first started reading the post and it said 3 years ago, I was expecting the dress might be a little outdated. And then I saw the picture & it is NOT at all! It is a beautiful dress and I think it will be great for a fall wedding.

Keep the dress. It's a nice color that you can work for the fall too.
If you don't keep it, then you should pay for the dresses of those who you did not pay back (unless they tell you no).

I think it's a little too summery with the fuschia colored belt thing (that's the color it looks like in the picture but not sure if I'm accurate) but I think the orange-y shade would be great for Oct. Maybe if you replace the fuschia part with a red belt and then add a red pashmina (like some other girls suggested). I see I'm in the minority here though

Yes, you should find out if the dress still fits everyone but you're off to a good start if it does. I think it would be perfect for the fall...Very pretty!

I voted to keep the same dress. I think it is a beautiful color for a fall wedding. The only problem you may incur is the girls getting cold. So pick up a shawl along the line and you'll be fine!
