My wedding dress arrived way earlier than expected. Where should I store it until the Sept wedding. Will it get ruined in the 6 months I have it at home?

I'm in a similar situation. I was told to wrap the gown in a white sheet (to prevent yellowing) & then place back in the garment bag. Keep the garment bag slightly open at bottom (one foot) so air can circulate. Store dress in dark closet away from smoke or odors (Cedar, moth balls or Kitchen area).

wow great thanks.....I'll try it, so much for that rumor about the dress taking months to come in.
