I down to about 6 months now... and havent gotten 'the' call... is this normal? how long before your wedding did you girls get the call? I ordered it back in august
ETA: not worrying, just a bit more curious than anything LoL

My dress came in about 10 weeks before the wedding. I ordered it in March 2008, and it came in early December.

I would call and ask them when your dress' expected arrival date is- Sometimes they have your dress be delivered as close as 6 weeks to your wedding date. Alot of salons don't want your dress to be on a hanger for so long. Plus you need to do your alterations as close to your wedding date as you can so it fits right.
My friends Maggie 'Victoriana' dress came in 7 weeks before her wedding date.

i ordered in August and I just got the call 3 days ago. I wouldnt worry, but def call them if it will make you feel better!

okay... sounds like i still have a bit of time... i just dont wana jump the gun on it ... for fear that a certain person at burtons will jump down my throat

Demetrios gowns should take no more than 6 months to come in. Since you ordered it 5 months ago, I'd give it another week or 2. Plus, you still have plenty of time for fittings.

mine isn't coming in until March! i'm freaking out! i want it to be here so bad! i don't think its bad to call and check the status.

My dress is the Victoriana....my dress came in 2 days ago and my wedding is March 28th....so about 9 weeks before the wedding!!!

I ordered my dress July 2008 and our wedding is July 2009. I called last month and was told my dress would be in the end of March.

I ordered my dress in May and it was here in November...1 full year before...they told me it wouldnt be in until like Jan/Feb...oh well lol...I would call to see where it is.

Ususally they order them so that they come in about 8 weeks before the wedding. That is allt he time you need for fittings...some people get less than that so youre way fine!
