Should I turn the volume down?

I was listening to 'Closer' by Nine Inch Nails before and just at the part where he yells 'I WANT TO **** YOU LIKE AN ANIMAL!', the director (my boss's boss) walks by. I chuckled to myself, wondering if he could hear it.

Immediately after that song, 'Smack My B*tch Up' comes on and Director stops at my desk on the way back to ask me to do something quick for him. The whole time he's in my cube, watching me work, the song is playing, and he can hear it.

I figured if I turned it down and drew attention to the song, it would be worse. So I left it alone.

Should I turn it down, you think?
