Edit: FH talked to one of his cop friends who is going to look into things. He said he's got it covered and that we should move in and if he doesn't come back, then they'll handle things for us.

Are you kidding? Wow yeah i'd be worried. LIPA lets you go a long time before they turn you off.

I wish we could. FH's house goes to closing in 9 days. And we already gave this guy 2 months security and first months rent. Ugh.

but WHY did they shut off the power? for non payment or because he canceled the account on the apartment? Are you supposed to pay electric?
