Soo I wasnt planning on going on vacation again this summer since DH and I are trying to save money. I went out with one of my good friends and her DH the other nite, who are going to Aruba in like a month and they offered us to stay in their time share with them for the week...so we wouldnt have to pay anything for a hotel. We also have miles so we can get one round trip ticket for free. The only thing we would have to pay for is one ticket and spending money. Since we are trying to save money, I feel like we shouldnt go but then another part of me says when are we going to have an opportunity like this again? What would you do??

I would totally go. You are saving so much money, and you get a full vacation but for a lot less.

it's weird but that whole natalee Holloway thing burns me. A US citizen is murdered there and the govt hides it? f*ck that.
IMO they have no export..their sole income is tourism and we should have shut that sh*t down until they got off their azzes and did something.
I don't feel safe there.

I hear ya amy about the whole halloway thing - but we are going there sunday for a wedding and I am planning on staying in the resort the entire time (its a short trip and all inclusive anyway)... FH wants to go there on our HM but I am going to be steering away from it probably

I would totally go. I need a break now. FH and I are going with my parents in august to Myrtle Beach since my parents paid for our airfare and will probably pay for a lot of the things we do down there.
If I was you i would definitely go.

I'm going to Aruba on the 24th and staying at my friends time-share too. I have no money to spend there but I don't care I'm so excited to have a break! No vacations next year until the HM!
