should we have invted them?

FH and i have two acquaintances that we only ever see when we are out, they are really friends with one of our GM's and his fiancee. we get along with them fairly well, but in an effort to cut costs, we didn't put them on our guest list. we didn't see them for a long time (maybe 4 months), but have seen them two times in the past week (we generally hang out at a bar and she is PG). i am beginning to get the feeling they might be mad at being 'snubbed.' were we wrong?

IMO you have to ask yourself, do you truly want them with you for one of the most important days of your life? --if you were wavering about inviting them and decided not to, it's probably bc you aren't that close- in which case, it is perfectly normal for you not to invite them. Even if you feel like they are acting weird, you shouldn't take it too hard- it's not possible for you to invite everyone you talk to to your wedding! They'll understand when (and if) they ever get married.

that's what i was thinking... the funny thing is they are already married (small civil ceremony) so when they start planning their own, larger wedding, i am hoping they will understand.
