should we register somewhere else??????

Hi ladies. I went to register on sat @ BBB and it was so exciting and tiring at the same time. It took us 4-5 hrs to finish. We did all departments and got everything we need. We got a total of 30 pages!!!! which we reduced to 25-26 by taking out things that werent that necessary. We were also going to register at crate and barrel but since we found everything that we could think of we were wondering if we should go to crate and barrel and register for the things we want there and delete those things from BBB registry i think that will help us have less pages in the BBB registry since I'm a little embarassed about having so many pages (but im getting alittle over that) in that 1 registry.

Ok another thing is that alot of people that have asked me where i'm registered dont know about crate and barrel. I know its stupid and silly but i guess the older population and some people dont know about that store. dont ask me why. So i'm afraid people will go to BBB only even if I register at crate and barrel as well. And since I know they are familiar with macys.thats where macys comes into play.....
also taking into consideration their return policies..... ok i'm done!

Maybe you can check out what Macys and Crate and Barrel have before you decide? Like look around online? I think it's not worth it to add if they don't have stuff you like....It is nice to give people options though depending on where they live--but you know your guests best!

I'm only registering at one store and I don't think it's a problem.. it's really depends on how your guests are. I owuldn't register at a store my guests didn't know. Don't know if this helps.

we registered at linens n'things, macys and fortunoff- we have people coming from a lot of different areas and wanted it to be convenient for everyone. plus we liked the programs that they all have- macys & fortunoff give you a percentage back to spend in the store

We actually registered at all 3 --- BBB, Macy's and Crate & Barrel!

Our appliances, china and housewares are on our BBB registry and our glassware, platters and accessories (napkins, placemats, etc) are on our Crate & Barrel registry.

We have a few odds and ends on our Macy's registry (the all-purpose bowls and formal glassware for our China that BBB doesn't carry, a down comforter, and some bedding).

Lots of people bought us things off the BBB and Crate & Barrel registries (I think people bought things online).

Only register somewhere else if you want to, don't be ashamed about the number of things on your registry. I think BBB and Macys have more of an overlap (most of the things we have at BBB are also at Macy's) but Macy's has other things too. Crate & Barrel has much better prices on glassware and entertaining type stuff and I'm a little glassware obsessed so we have waaaaaay too much stuff now.

I registered a bbb, crate and barrel and fortunoff and Im happy i registered at all 3. I had my shower already and everything was gone. My friedns told me they wish l registered at more store cause some of them got my real random stuff. So register for a lot .,,,,, and the older generation new about b.b.b becuase they always get the cupons

thanks everyone you guys all are giving me good ideas. FH gets so upset when i tell him that 26 pages are too much...he says 'SO WHAT???' but i'm so uneasy about the whole thing. I wanted to register for the other one online but crate and barrel doesnt have alot of options online to look at. I'm just thinking of all the possibilities you are all giving me. thanks!

yes i already registered @ BBB and saw the china....so nice. I got the opal innocense. its so elegant...omg but i thought its so expensive. the gravy bowl alone is like $115!!!!

i did macys, bbb and sears...For our enjoyment party we were just finishing our kitchen so we received gift cards to put towards our appliances...Now all that is left is the vacuum...

We did BBB & Macys. We have people from everywhere and want it to be convenient for them.

who cares how many pages you have...you have nothing to lose by registering for more stuff! you never know! register away!

i LOVE crate and barrel
