I'm having a hard time with plates too, right now I dont' have anything on my registry for plates. I found china I LOVE but its super expensive - so I know I won't get it since we are having a smaller wedding. (Also would be a complete waste since we don't entertain) I can't find any casual dinnerware I'm in love with. We have really really old plates that were passed down from my parents that I LOVE so its not the end of the world if I used those forever - it would be nice to have something fancy though...

If FH claims he doesn't care so be it! He gets butterflies!

Re: Show me your...

these are ours..fh insisted upon plain white, which i was fine with-it's very easy to match platters and serving bowls..and then i have lil plates for christmas and stuff that are white based that can be mixed in..

We registered for Colorwave Graphite Dinnerware by Noritake.....let me see if I can get a pic in here...first time doing this...

Also, we registed for the accent plates too...one has round circles on it, the other has a large flower. That way if we are bored, we can use the accent plates!

THIS IS MINE!!!!!! My mother just sent us 12 pieces (since we live in Rochester and won't be able to fit them plus our other engagement gifts in the car). I love them!

I couldn't find the accent plates with the circles where did you get/ register for them... FM me

Re: Show me your...

We have two sets, both Williams Sonoma... the first one is what we'd have for parties and family get-togethers, the second is everyday china but could easily translate for a formal table setting (the consultant at WS helped me pick it out, it's the Alpico Tuileries dinnerware set. VERY durable and sooooo beautiful!)
