I got one for my grandma at Totally You (dont have a pic) and the one for my Godmother we got at Macy's in the bridesmaids section. She felt a lot of the mother of the bride dresses were too old for her so it was easier for her to pick from the bridesmaids dresses. We got her a bill levkoff in a Navy Blue color.
My moms dress at the Bridal Salon. We got it in Black and she looked HOT!!!! The one pix is the detail in the bodice and matching detail in the jacket.
My mom is plus size so it was not easy to find something, AND find something we loved.
We got my mom's at My Daughter's Wedding II in Great Neck. You can't see the detail of the dress, but it's beaded similarly to the jacket.
My mom wanted something big, even though she probably could've taken it in more (it was her refusal, not the store). She just loved the color and everything! They were great for alterations too.

I'm trying 2 outfit my mom as well -- without making her look dowdy or like a nun! But also covering up the important parts that she doesn't want to show -- plus she is petite! I like this outfit a lot.
