hey. i havent even chosen my groomsmen yet, but my friend gave them each a different gift. for example one of them loves the yankees so tey bought him a personalized yankees cig, lighter. to the other one they bought soemthing else that was 'special for him' engraved.

we'll be getting the guys personalized Pub Signs and personalized Bottle openers.

I'll refrain from my whole spiel about tuxes requiring black bowties and long ties being more appropriate for either suits or morning dress.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that the Burberry check is super recognizable. It would be akin to wearing a Chanel wedding gown with the interlocking C's on the front.
Now, maybe you have thought of that and you still like it which is cool, but I would pick something a little less recognizable. Here is something close for example that won't make your pics look like a Burberry ad:

Too funny you guys!! Are you trying to buy in bulk for a discount? My groomsmen are wearing charcoal gray tuxes, and i think it would look fab. I don't know about a solid purple tie though...

I'm not sure yet as far as buying in bulk. I have decided this on my own- haven't asked FH yet LOL
But I agree- I would definitely go with the print as opposed to solid purple- bc it might as well be any other tie then.
