DIY cardboxes! I need inspiration

Also, did you girls buy plain ones and dress them up? Or did you make the whole thing yourselves? Would using cardboard boxes work?

I'm DIYing a lot for this wedding and I don't have a crafty bone in my body

I got mine from a 2009 bride and it looked like this



Did some alterations and now it looks like this!








It looks like she used photo boxes of different sizes, and wrapped them in strong wrapping paper/wallpaper to create the box itself. i just used her base and recreated to match my theme

I ordered my boxes off of amazon. They sell 3 of them together in diff shapes and sizes. I haven't started to make mine yet. I will soon though.
