Ok, so, now we're finally done installing hardwood floors in our dining room, living room and hallway.
Next project is the master bedroom...the color of our furniture is like a light oakey color...
I'm so overwhelmed with doing stuff in our house that I feel like I can't think or come up with any ideas anymore.
What color is your bedroom...who is the paint manufacturer?

We painted ours yellow to give it a nice, bright sunshiney feel. Don't have a picture right now and have a realtor coming to check out my house, so I'll try to take one later.
I think with a light oak, a nice light green might look pretty -- like a lime juice or green tea (those are paint colors we used in other rooms...) Have fun!

I did mine in suede paint - RL Fawn's Leap. It is a cocoa color. My bedding is all a raisin/plum colors. Close up of the color

We tried to go the colorful route... more of a cottage style... our master bedroom is light yellow with light green bedding, and the guest bedrooms are light blue... all the paint is Behr, from home depot... you can check them out on this website...
My walls are a pale lavender....its gives the room this warm cozy feel. Our furniture is stainless steel and wood so it looks great.

Where I live now my walls are two tone...Some walls are blue and some walls are light grey. I used a glidden flat paint.
Where Danielle and I are moving into our bedroom is a pale green. The ceiling is white and the carpet is going to be an off white berber.

We have oak floors in our bedroom with dark brown furniture and a wrought iron bed. The walls are in the gold family. We used a benjamin moore color. Our courtins are a cooper/black crinkle material.
I think the easiest way to decide a color is if you have an inspiration. If you have bedding that you love pull a color out of it and work from there. It will make the room look complete and put together.

My bedroom is FAR from done - but we used Ben. Moore Dry sage for the walls and November rain for the doors/molding
Here's ours, it's Medium Terra Cotta by Behr. Although, in this pic for some reason it looks salmon!!! It's actually a nice, warmer, more earthy color in person.
