we haven't seen our sample yet - we're waiting until closer to the wedding in case i see something I'd like to add but we are doing something similar to this and on this candelabra. Except no calla lilies and a lot less hydrangea. We have tons of cream and whit garden roses, polo roses, lisianthus, wax and snap dragons.
That's the reason I didn't book with Bur Tons. I want really big centerpieces and they couldnt show me pics -from work they've previous done- of how big mine would be.
But Definitely check out other florists even if you do go with them. Different places give you different ideas - and you can take those ideas back to the florist you actually book with.

Pacie, who did you book with? and yes I felt the same as you, he didnt have any pics of really full, big CPs...I am not booking with him, its not even like he was soooo much cheaper. no reason to book someone who doesnt get my vision and is not cheaper lol

You gals are worrying me a bit w/ the comments re: B u r t o n s. We want low centerpieces, probably one bigger one and two side ones w/ candles around. Should I be worried? lol

i mean you have to go and talk to the florist
everyone has different experiences
I honestly have not heard a single bad thing about them at all
I honestly think I wanted something that was too 'trendy' and 'big' and he wasn't comfortable doing it, so he tried to talk me into something he could do
I would go and talk to him, so many people have had good experiences...theres no loss to you!
just know he doesnt make samples prior to booking
one good thing is he only asks for small deposit i think 50? and you don't have to pay until the wedding

Yeah I booked with them already because they do a lot more lower centerpieces which we want to do. I might just ask for a sample soon just in case to ease my mind.

The following is what I think I'd like for my centerpiece, except around it, I'd have two smaller vases with a few flowers to accompany it and 4 candles.
