Show us your 'reception shoes'!!

is anyone wearing 'comfy' shoes for the reception?? i know my shoes are gonna kill me feet! i need some idea's! thanks!

i was gonna get slippers also but i'm afraid my dress will be dragging on the floor all night! i was thinking i need something a little higher so i don't trip!

i know exactly what you are saying...I will not be wearing heels with a big heel...My aunt told me though they have the chinese slippers with a wedge on them so there is more height...I am gonig to go looking for them today...

i bought bridal flip flops-platform form DSW shoes. they were high enough so my dress didnt drag too much but by that time, i didnt care!!!!!

I wore new Adidas 'Superstar' shells (white w/ black stripes) and DH wore black w/ white stripes and we were a HIT!!

I wore Vera Wang heels (4 in!!) for ceremony -- DH is a foot taller than me so needed the height and changed to 2 in Fenarolis for reception. I had worn them to dance lessonst to break in -- a wise move. Got them both from www.myglassslipper.com and saved a bundle. My review from 4/4/04 has details. Good luck.

The biggest mistake I made was not bringing comfy shoes for the reception! My feet was killing me the whole night!

I should have worn my sneakers!

You can see my reception sneakers in this pic!! Everybody got such a kick out of them. Every time I went to a new table, I had to lift my dress for everyone to see my shoes!!

me too...!!!!!!!!! for like 3 bucks... what a great deal... I don't know if I will def wear them but I thought they were worth it to have as an option... they are prob the cheapest think I will buy for this wedding...
