Are there going to be a lot of people at this shower that were at yours? Do you really think anyone will remember what you wore to your shower?
I don't see a problem with it. Hopefully everyone's attention will be on the guest of honor and not on your outfit.

What I wore to my RD I wore to my friends engagment party and she was at the RD. I don't think it is tacky at all.

tacky? i don't think so at all! its just an outfit. i guess if your shower isnt a surprise, you will plan to wear something nice, but there's no reason you can't wear that outfit to any other special occasion. i am sure nobody will even notice but you.
