Re: SHOWER

do u mean draw the line...like close family vs. 2nd cousins, your family and friends vs. fh's family etc?

for mine i believe we are def going to invite all the women that are family that are invited to the wedding...then family friends are case by case basis i think....any girls that are my friends and close with me...but probably not some of fh's friends that are girls that im not super close with.

hope that helps!

Re: SHOWER

FH says we should do the same., to clear off the registry

All family are invited of course. but mom's friends...FMIL friends...ugh

Re: SHOWER

My mother said only people who are with in a decent driving distance and who is not a 'guest' are being invited. Now my mother claims (she is old school) that if you invite out of town women to the shower it is seen as a 'get me a gift' invite since they most likely would not attend.

I honestly don't know which is right.

Re: SHOWER

I know for mine I'll invite family and friends. And my FMIL and my mothers friends. No one who is a and guest will be invited.

I think any female guest who is invited to the wedding should be invited to the shower.
