Shower

My mom has officially told me every detail about my shower- I was kinda disapointed at first but I know she cannot help it- she is my best friend and we're just so used to doing everything together and sharing everything------things just came out of her lol.

now that I do know where and when- how long before would you register?

My sister did the same thing. I knew it was bound to happen with, she can't keep a secret to save her life. It's a little dissapointing but think of it this way you can be prepared for the day.

my shower isn't a surprise, and while my mom says she doesn't want me to know much about it,--she just wants me to show up--she's already told me where it is, what they're serving, etc.

I have to register asap...FH and I have been putting that off.

My mom wont tell me a thing...shes even keeping the bachelorette party a secret too!

I would register asap!! Ya never know when people may want to buy you an engagement gift!!

My shower is not a surprise as well. My sister who got married 2 years ago, didn't have a surprise shower because she lived out of town, but we enjoyed not having to sneak around. My own opinion is that we all know it's coming and I am a BIG peeker and snooper so they wouldn't be able to surprise me. I also HATE surprises when I know they are coming. If you just want to surprise me and I have no idea, like when we got engaged, that was fabulous. But if I know about it, it makes me nuts.

Anyway, one of my great aunts wanted my registry because she wanted to buy my gift already and my shower isn't until September- so like I said in the beginning, I would register soon. It's actually a lot of fun. I'm a dork though and love Bed, Bath and Beyond.
