Re: Shower
My ideal shower would be at one of the wineries...but I know it's most likely not going to happen. Anyway...I just went to a shower at The Boat House in Merrick and it was really nice. I've also been to showers at Elissa's in East Meadow. I heard Singleton's in Bethpage does a nice brunch. Those are just some thoughts off the top of my head. Do you prefer Nassau or Suffolk?

Thanks, I prefer nassau because almost everyone coming lives in nyc, brooklyn, new jersey and staten island. So we want to make it more conveinent for them.

Re: Shower
I had my shower at Connelly's in Maspeth. (Queens) it's right off of the LIE so it's pretty easy to get to.
I had people coming from Suffolk and from Upstate ny and it seemed to be okay. It's a great place, great food. If you do a search on here under my name and bridal shower I have some pics in a thrad somwhere. I just didn't save them to my profile yet.
It was 'frog prince' themed. My cousin (BM) did such a great job on everything. We had a candy bar, which I HIGHLY recommend to the highest recommendations lol Everyone loved it. I really didn't think it would go over so well, but for 50 women, we had to fill it up 3 times!!! It was awesome.

Picollo on Bellmore has great food. I think they have a private room, as well. And two years ago I went to a party at EB Elliotts in Freeport. They have a nice upstairs area that would be perfect for a shower. The food was pretty good.

Re: Shower
We had my sister's at Peppercorn's right by the Hicksville train station. They have reasonable prices and have a private room upstairs. It was very nice, but it was not fun when we had to carry all of her gifts down the stairs!

Re: Shower
I've been to a few really cute ones; One was at Singletons and the food was great etc., my SIL's was at Sidekicks in Massapequa Park... very good service and food, and the most recent my FSIL had hers at the Wantagh Inn... very cozy and cute and the food was also good. It was definitely a homely feel to it but provided enough space etc for all the people she had. All three were very nice!
