Who typically throws your bridal shower? My MOH is in Chicago and she keeps asking me who is throwing my shower. I have no idea but I thought it was supposed to be her and the rest of my bridesmaids, is this not the case? I also heard my mom could do it as well.
One of my girls had like 4 showers, 2 thrown by her family, one by her parents friends and the other by her husband's family.

it really all depends on your bm's and mom. my mom threw mine and all the girls offered to help her but she said it wasn't necessary. so i guess i would mention something to your mom to get her opinion on it and go from there.

I think I'm having two. My fam (mom) is throwing one and then my MOH and BMs are throwing another. I don't think your MOH should be asking you who's throwing your shower, she should either take the initiative or just call your mom and coordinate togehter. I sent all my BMs and MOH an email introducing everyone since they're in various states and I know for sure they've been communicating behind my back regarding the wedding so maybe do that....Good Luck!

my mom is doing it, FMIL is very involved tho! my sister is my MOH so I know mom can always get her to help out and my girls all have been in contact with both mom and sis to lend a hand! I think between, mom, FMIL, MOH, BM's and sisters it can pretty much be done by anyone or all of them together!

i think its different in all cases... my mom and my bm's are all doing it together... as far as I can tell... they already picked the date cause they keep teasing me about it...

Its usually the mother of the bride and the bridal party. My mom is deceased so it will just be my girls.
