Shower

Hey girls! haven't been on in awhile since things have been sooo busy! just wanted to update that my mom threw me a shower this past saturday and it was amazing!!! after all the stories i heard about showers being boring i was really nervous about havin one but it went awesome! my mom planned so many activities and cute games and gave out all sorts of prizes. Everyone told me they had so much fun! I think it reallllly helped that I started opening gifts between appetizer/ and salad. This way I got through 1/4 of gifts before weeven ate and then did some more before the main course and a little more at the end. I definitely reccommend to you all to start opening early on and not wait until after eating because your guests will be bored!

oh and we were on the fence about getting alcohol...we ended up doing sangria punch bowls and it worked out perfectly!! can't wait to post some pics!!

honestly at some points people werent even paying attention to the gift opening but i didnt mind...i think it was a really good sign that most of the tables talked and laughed...plus everyone started winning things from the games so they were happy! who doesn't like to win prizes!! my mom gave out spatulas, kitchen things, those liquid air freshners sticks, etc. i think it also helped that we had 3 hours tops so it kept it short and sweet.

my mom put 15 min earlier than the start time for the shower so that as we could get the most of our time!
