My niece is planning my daughter's bridal shower. She email the BM to see if they wanted to chip in together to buy a gift for the shower. She received a quick responce. Three of the BM have no problem chipping in together. The sister of the groom said that she wants to buy something on her own. I find out today that the sister and the MIL are giving one gift.
My question is, can the BM's that originally wanted to chip in together do so without starting anything or creating hard feelings?

I say go for it since future SIL already said she was doing her own thing. Don't let her hold back the other BM's

Re: Shower
Totally agree with the above--she has the right to do her own thing.. so should the girls.

Re: Shower
When I was a MOH I had stumbled across the same thing. I my sisters SIL's do their own thing and I had the rest of the girls chip with with me and get the bedding my sister really wanted. Your niece offered and they denied so nobody should have their feelings hurt! In my experience, it all worked out fine!

I agree with the other girls. Don't stress about it.
