Shower and bach party are next weekend...feeling weird about it
I feel almost bad that people are going out of their way to be there and spending money on me. Is this strange? Its not like I havent done it for them, when it was time for their showers and bach parties, and I know people are happy to do it. But I feel sort of guilty about people giving up their time for me...does anyone know what I mean? Its kind of hard to put into words.

I get like that too!! But you deserve it!! They are doing it because they want to and because they love you!! And also remember you prob did the same for all of them or will at some point!!

trust me, people want to go to the bach party. maybe not the shower always, but they will just to be there for you. It's your turn now!

I know what you mean! Me and two BM's are going to scope out some dress ideas before I start dragging everyone else out. I keep telling them over and over how much I appreciate all they're doing and they're all 'aight, calm down!' Same goes for the Registry - my one BM is yelling at me to put nice stuff on it but I don't want to put anything too expensive on it because I don't want to be a burden to people's pocketbooks.

this is your time....you deserve the attention after all the planning. think about how wonderful it will be to have everyone you care about in one room. your true friends/family want to be there and celebrate!!

I had the same feeling for my shower and it was the overwhelming in the beginning but once I started to mingle, it was such a great feeling that all your friends and family had such wonderful things to say and give for you at the shower. They were truly happy to shower you!!

Thanks everyone....I know I deserve it and that people are thrilled to do it for me...as I have always been for everyone else. I just feel bad...

My shower is TOMORROW and I'm having the exact same complex. I have family coming from Pittsburgh just to be there! It's a little overwhelming. But like other posters have said, I'm going to try and focus on how cool it is to have so many friends and family in the same place.
