Shower date frustrations...

I love surprises, so I really want my shower to be a surprise....but not knowing when it is is killing me! Chrissy (MOH) I know you're reading this, and I really don't want to know so don't blow it!!!! But, My wedding is April 12th, My Bachelorette party is March 21st, and there are only 3 other possible weekends. Not that I want to know, but I can't stand sitting around not doing anything on the weekends. I hate to break plans, so I haven't been making any with anyone. I want to schedule a date to start fittings on my dress, I want to schedule a date for a hair and makeup trial, but I don't want to end up at my shower and forget to call and cancel, or end up at my trial and ruin the surprise for my shower. So I have just been not making plans on the weekends, and just taking things as they come....I can't take it!!!! I just want it over already! Plus, I've been peeking at my registry and barely anything is off of it....So I guess I am safe to make plans for this weekend? I don't know!!! Thanks for letting me vent
