My shower invites are out... i know this because of family drama...but I still don't know when or where my shower is. I don't want to be in jeans. i bought an outfit to give to my sister to change into. My sister is concerned about how much time will be wasted changing and about not having enough time for everything else. She feel like i will probably know when my whoer is anyway regardless of what lie they tell me, which she is probably right. Do i find out when it is now or try to keep it a surprise. I was thinking of having her tell me the day before and not tell me where and I can be dressed before hand and still be surprised. I will take any advice I just have no idea what I want.

hmmm......I don't see why she is concerned with you taking up so much time changing I mean I don't think it'll take that long to slip yourself into a dress or whatever and some shoes. IMO I like suprises and want me shower to be a total suprise so my mom is going to just bring my outfit with her and I'm going to change there.

i just went to my friends shower and she changed and it took literally 5 minutes....it shouldnt be a big deal :)
Honestly though mine is supposed to be a surprise but I really want to know the day of so that I can be dressed with good hair and makeup== lol

I feel like no matter where I go now on the weekend I will make sure my hair and make up is done....I love surprises but I love trying to guess or figure it out too. So I really don't know.

If there is any chance it could be a surprise I would leave it alone. I didn't think my fam would be able to surprise me and they got me big time, I seriously had no idea! We had precana the day of my shower and the people hosting the precana gave the ok for us to leave early, but I didn't know this so when DH abruptly told me that we had to leave to help his mom and sister with car trouble I was sooooooooo I actually said 'maybe we'll talk about this when we get back to precana!' I am sooo happy I was actually surprised!
And changing will not take that long, that's a silly worry!

i don't think changing will take long at all! but for me, i don't have a whole lot going on in my life on the weekends so if i am going somewhere on a saturday or sunday any time the next two months, i am going to be dressed up!! (as my FH says 'no really we are just going to Target, are you really going to do this every time???' LMAO)

I didn't want to be surprised, but everyone refuses to tell me when/where so I have no choice. I told my MOH, FH, and my mom that under no circumstances is it funny to surprise me when I am dressed horribly. (my mom responded that she knows better than that). Maybe you can say the same thing so everyone makes sure you look the part.

honestly your gonna know a general time frame and if u get invited out for 'lunch' or something just get dressed up.
that was my plan before ppl ruined the surprise and now i know the date haha
