But honestly, I never knew this. I missed the boat on this one!

I don't know because I kinda thought of all my shower gifts as gifts for US.

So I guess the question is what does HE want off the registry?

No I am sure they don't have to but it is a nice idea, he was going to get me my vacuum but we are moving and don't want it now so he was looking to get me something not on the registry.

Yeah. FH isn't buying me a shower gift.

I don't think he knows that he is supposed to give me a wedding gift even.

You're a very lucky girl! My FH didn't get me a shower gift ( I didn't know he was supposed to). He looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned buying each other wedding gifts.

I have started hearing this about FH getting Shower Gifts. Mine surprised me with a corsage and flowers.
It should be something sentimental IMO

My FH didn't get me a shower gift.....never heard of that before. The shower is for the bride, but the gifts are really for the 2 of you to have in your house, jmo

Mine did the same! simple and sweet

i see shower gifts as gifts for both FH and myself, for our new home and life together. i dont know why he would have to get something for me...

my FH brought me flowers and he threw an after party for our bridal party and immediate family at our new house. so it was a surprise after another surprise for me! i thought it was sweet.

At my friend's shower her husband gave her a coach bag, coach shoes and wrote the most ridiculously sweet things in a card for her about how he loves her so much and cant wait to marry her. He had the MOH hide it at the bottom of the pile and be sure it was the last one she opened. It was really sweet.

I told my FH to do this and he said no. haha.

I was lucky DH showed up at the end to help pack up the cars

thats sweet of him ...hmmm maybe a spa gift certficate? a nice bag? perfume? hope that helps
