Shower gifts sent to me by mistake??

I know some people have had this issue- we got two gifts today from Macy's- one was giftwrapped with a card and I checked with MOH and they cant come to the shower so I know that was supposed to be sent to us... however we also got a toaster oven that wasn't wrapped or anything. I don't think they meant to have it sent to us and we don't know who it's from..... what should I do?

I don't want to look at the Thank Yous on the Macys reg bc I don't want to see what everyone else got for the shower on Sat.....

hmmm how to handle this ? And this was the most expensive thing bought off our reg so far so I feel bad if it's not there to open on Sat

hmmmm we live upstate so they wouldn't be able to get it back till Sat.. lol

This happened to me too, I thought it was mistake but after poking around found out that they didn't want to chance it breaking by shipping it to them and then bringing it to the shower and then it being transported from the shower back to my house. They figured they'd cut out some steps and just send it right to the house.

Maybe in your case they didn't want to have to lug the toaster oven to the shower and then have you have to get it home?

Oh so yea i would just open them they probably don't want to bring them since they may be too heavy.
