Shower Gifts: To use now or later?

Shower Gifts: To use now or later?

For those girls who have already had their bridal shower, did you use your shower gifts right after or did you wait until you were married?

I just moved in with my FH and my shower was this passed weekend. We have some stuff but I really want to use the new stuff we got and some people are telling me I should wait until we are married so its special. Thoughts??

we used whatever we wanted (certain things like our china we arent using now simply bc we dont have the space for it) but bedding, everyday dishes, utensils etc we started using immediately. not sure if thats right or wrong but its what we did

My DH ripped open the box with the Keurig the minute we got it in the house!! He couldn't wait to use it! I started using things only because I knew it was going to take me time to pack things up and put the new stuff out. I'm still unpacking shower gifts and my shower was back in April!!
