Shower guest list questions

My MOH wants a guest list from me by this Friday. Do I include relatives of my fiance that I haven't met? Also, my fiance is friendly with a few couples who I know but not well. Do I add these women to the list? He is friendly with the women as much as the men, it's not just that they are the wives of his friends. 1 or 2 asked him where we are registered. Any suggestions?
Fran

what I did is give them our guest list to the wedding. Whomever was on the list and lived in our area was invited. That is the tradition in my family. all get invited but not all are expected to come.
We really like Video Gold but are curious if his price is negotiable- If you used him, were you able to get a good deal?

I did the same. If I knew the women then I put them down. If my FMIL wanted anyone there then I put them on the list. As as his friends wives go, that I never met, he didn't think it was necessary to put them down. Ask your FI to see what he says, they are his friends. Sometimes people at work are not expecting to be invited to things, but they still like to buy you wedding gifts. Good luck!

Thanks. I've decided not to include women I don't know well...other than some of his family - I will leave that up to my fiance's sister to decide. My MOH also started telling me about my mother's 'control issues' regarding this...hopefully it's the last I'll hear of it. Actually, my mother has been terrific about everything so far. She's so thrilled that her only daughter is getting married.

It's amazing how a wedding can enhance or destroy a relationships. Some of my family is coming from Germany for my wedding. I didn't think they would make it since it's been 15 years since I've seen them. Most of my FI's family is coming from out of state too. It's a wonderful feeling!!!
PS- If someone was forgotten on the list, they can't blame you, right!!!

I don't remember all of a sudden it went out of my head but I think she is the only lady photographer.

That is really nice that so many people are coming a good distance to be there. We may be having a bunch from overseas too, Ireland. I was surprised when my FSIL told of several relatives that said they will be attending. You're right, sometimes people can really surprise you or disappoint you. I guess the best thing is to focus on the positives. Did you ever remember someone who was really rude to you but forget the person that went out of their way to be kind? I try to step back and appreciate the kind people rather than seeth at the others...sometimes easier said than done but worth it in the long run..

Totally true!!! The true test of that will be the wedding day. Things are going to go wrong, but we can't let that spoil our SPECIAL day! I hope we all pass the test!!!

I was just about to ask for the same recommendation. Somewhere that has a nice selection on hand in some slightly larger sizes - I think my mother is a 16-18. Thanks.
