Shower guest list woes...

So my mom needs to guarantee 55 people at the Irish Coffee Pub. My guest list is only 52 people bc FMIL said not to invite anyone from her side Sooo my mom keeps coming up with people to invite who I now have to invite to the wedding... but I still don't think she's going to have enough people and it's just costing ME more money!!!

Who wants to come to my shower!!! LOL!!!!!

is there anyway she can work out a deal with the people. maybe instead of guaranteeing 55 ppl she can put that money towards something else....instead of trying to scramble for more ppl.

I want to call and ask these things myself but she doesn't want me to really have any part in the planning. She's already not happy I know this much!! I can't convince her to ask though she said she feels weird.

Seriously! Though my FMIL was weird about inviting people, too. Then after the invites went out she thought of like 10 people to friggin add.

But definitely tell her to call and ask about freebies!

I'll come to your shower!

And you don't have to worry about me going to your wedding!

Invite me!!! I'll bring a good gift. But you have to invite me to the wedding too lol

Becasue she's strange. And I guess because most people from OOT won't come for a shower but I have some OOT fam and we still invited them. They would insulted if I hadn't... so because FMIL is a psycho FH is going to have a bunch of insulted female family members...

The only person she does want me to invite is FBIL's FW.
