shower guestlist

so im trying to make my guestlist for my shower, and im getting so confused

should we invite ffil's work ppl?
what about people i absolutely know will not come? 1 girl in fh's group lives in arizona, so she wont come, but were inviting every other girl-do we invite her too?

For my shower in NY, I'm inviting all close family of both me and FH and girlfriends for both of us, including his friends' wives.

Only family is invited to my second shower in Florida.

I am invited my Father's secretary, but she's like an aunt to me. My Dad has known her about 20 years now. Mostly, we are inviting only family and close friends and that includes people we know won't come. There's like 3-4 of those.
