I am trying to plan a shower for a friend. Can anyone suggest any good places to have one in Suffolk County? Nothing too fancy...very casual and fun. I've never done this before. Thanks so much!!!

Re: Shower help!
my gf had hers at Union Station in smithtown...we had a private room, plenty of space...the food was really good!
I'm not sure about the price...
or how about Portico's in Hauppauge?
orrr the Grill Room?
The Bonwit?

Re: Shower help!
I had liked the idea of having a tea party shower at Bayard Arboretum when I was planning my sister's shower, but the room was too small.

Milk & Sugar Cafe in Bayshore
I believe they give you the whole restaurant for the party

Milk and Sugar cafe is a nice spot for a bridal shower. It's cute and homey, its Great for a baby shower too

Re: Shower help!
my friend just had her baby shower had the milk and sugar cafe, they give you a room across the street from the actualy milk and sugar cafe and it got pretty cramped in there you could not really move around all that much.

Re: Shower help!
My shower was at the Blue Lagoon, nice room. I heard the food was good too, I didn't eat a thing I was too nervous!
I've done showers for my sisters at: Orlando's in Smithtown - $25 pp, 4 hour party Orlando's in Commack - same Bull Dog Grille in Amityville - $22 pp, 4 hour party. Gemellis in Babylon Village - this was at least $30 pp, 4 hour party
All of them had great service and good food - and all were either private rooms (the first three) or the whole restaurant (Gemellis).
Ive also been to good showers at Shandon Court (reasonably priced) and Irish Coffee Pub - a little more $.

I had my friends shower last year at The Argyle in Babylon. We had the entire back room for I THINK 26.95/pp It was GREAT. I highly recommend it
