shower idea help..sorry its long

one of my bm's is getting
married a month after me and I will be in her wedding. I am trying to plan her bridal shower with the other girls and since i am the 'wedding junkie' I am taking it upon myself to come up with gift ideas. Because she is not a drinker...a wine basket with poem is out...i was then going to do one with candles...but when i told my mom about it she informed me that my bp was doing that for me for the same 'non-drinker' reasons....now i dont want to do the same for her because mine is first and it would be weird to do the same thing for her a month later! so..i wanted to think of something different...just for her. then i thought..what about making baskets for all their new '1st holidays' together? Do you think this is a good idea? for instance...for christmas...get ornaments and other decor...and so on... i am sure this has been done before so maybe some of you know peoms that could go along with the baskets....any suggestions? Thanks!

Is it a group gift thing? Maybe you could have each person attending write a poem. That way they could be personal. they could be short and silly/sweet that way no one worries about writing bad.

How about a baking theme basket. I just had my shower on sunday & got one with a little cute poem.

I also did get a themed basket of fall items since my wedding is in Nov. I think that is a Great idea for a Christmas basket. I would have loved one.
