shower ideas

hi ladies i was wondering if anyone has any ideas that i can do for my shower...i live with my FH already and feel like i have a lot of everything so i dont want to have a typical shower (i still registered and would like some stuff lol )....also i want to be a part of planning it and just wanted to do something different

what about a jack and jill shower? and i know that you can register for your honeymoon too... or maybe a theme shower?? i definitely want to do something different too so i think and get back to you!!

I'm having a jack and jill shower --for two reasons--i didn't want a traditional one and my FH's family is Indian and would feel better for the first meeting for him to be there.

I'm also not opening the gifts in a tradition way. I want people to be able to meet and drink and enjoy the day without watching me open gifts for two hours. What I'm doing is having the opened gifts displayed on a table for all to see. My MOH's will attach the cards to each box.

I want more of a nice, fun get together than a traditional shower. Do what you want.

Jack and Jill is a great theme and their are many ideas you can use.

1. My Fsil &Fbil had a Jack N Jill and did a his and her theme

2. My cousin did Mickey and Minnie
