Just spoke to my sister (and MOH) and i told her i am sending invites out april 14th, and she said she will send out the shower invites before that (which gives me a hint it wont prob be in april ). My question is does it make a different if i send them out before she does for my shower. It is going to be a surprise for me anyway, but what if she wasnt going to throw me a shower till june closer to the wedding. I hope she doesnt feel obligated to send it out just b/c i am.

I don't think it makes a difference. I wouldn't think twice about it either way (I mean if I was a guest receiving the invites in either order).

Hi - Makes no difference!!!! My invites went out in September, and my shower was only 4 weeks before the wedding.
