I have a question- do a lot of you girls have friends that dont know your bigger group of friends? Like I have my good friends that know each other and then I have a few friends that dont really know them at all. Do you think they will feel left out or awkward at the shower?
I was a BM in my friend's wedding and I knew literally nobody else involved. At the shower I felt terribly out of place and uncomfortable ... but as time wore on I got to know the other BMs and I was fine. For a regular guest though ... I say ... eh, it's just one day! I got through it!

I do. I think most of my friends aren't really friends w/ eachother. And then some used to be friends and had a falling out. Also, I went away to 2 different colleges so the ones that will make the trip won't really know anyone. I figure they're all pretty friendly so they should be okay. I recently went to a shower where I knew no one and the people I sat with were so welcoming. It wasn't a big deal.

I was recently at a shower where I only knew one girl on friendly terms, and then knew the BP just in passing, and it was ok, if the one girl I was friendly with in HS wasn't there though, I'd be pretty uncomfortable. My only friends are girls that I went to hs with, and two are in my BP and are barely on speaking terms, and the other 2, assuming they come, were in different friend circles of mine than my BP friends, but overall I'm not anticipating too much of an issue.
im sure veryone will get along fine..i was just at a baby shower and i knew 2 people out of like 50..but by the time the parry was half over i was talking to all diffrent people
