Shower List is driving me crazy!!!

How many ppl is max that u can invite??? IMO - I would make a list of ppl I wanted there first, and then have ur mom and FMIL add to the list. U can invite a few ppl over, since not everyone will come

We want about 60 there, my mom thinks I should only invite 65. I have 81 on the list including kids. My mom's family is scattered and won't really be there so she wants all of her friends there.

Isn't it 'supposed to be' just the women who are invited to the wedding...? That's the list I handed over to MOH and it's made my time with this very simple. Good Luck with your decisions....invite stress is tough because you don't want to offend, but you don't want to burden either.

There are about 100 women invited to the wedding and I definitely don't want that many!

Can u cut the kids out to accomidate everyone else? I know your mom wants her friends there, but they shouldnt be there at the expense of your list being shortened

Ugh- guest lists are nuts!

I would have FH help you make a list of his family and give it to FMIL to 'ok' (just let her know there is a limit on people you can invite)

IMO- you shouldnt have to cut out your friends to include your moms- thats not right.

oh yeah- cut out kid off the bat- if you need to cut anyone.

We invited 48 and ended up with 31.

I am asking FSIL to help me with FH's family. I am just not sure who should be on there because there are so many. Unfortunately I am not close with all of them but FH is so I feel obligated.

I have no clue who to invite or not to invite. My mom wants 10 of her friends but I have a limit on mine! FH's family and friend's wives are so confusing and I need to having this to my mom ASAP!!!

invite your closest family on both sides first. obviously BP, then your other close friends not in the BP. Close family friends that you know also. Now here is what i did as far as fh's friends wives. I invited those i do know well and we hang out with. One group of FH's friends are mostly all in relationships either married, engaged or together for many years and we all hang out alot so we know eachother plus most of the guys in this particular group are our groomsmen. There are some of his friends gf's that i didnt invite. One of his groomsmen i dont know his gf well, we only hung out with them like 2 or 3x i think 2x actually. Plus with the gf's/wives i am inviting, the ones that had showers i was invited to theirs. As far as his side such as family, why dont you ask his mom to give you a list. I asked FMIL for a list of her side
