My sister is getting married and is having a shorter engagement, so I have to get cracking on her shower. We are hoping for Nov. At least 1/2 of the guests would come from CT and Westchester so we are thinking Nassau/Queens. Any suggestions?

I am guestimating about 70 people. I am flexible on the type of food, although her fiance is italian - so that, american, etc - nothing too exotic. I would like to keep it to under $50 pp.

papa razzi is nice.......they are in Westbury
i think theres diff menus.....30-40$ seemed to be what i recall...its a cute place! they have 1 private area...thats blocked off by a wall...has a fireplace in it also theres a private room w a bar and dance floor.

Mine was at the Milleridge Inn at the Carriage House in Jericho and it was BEAUTIFUL. I loved it and the guests all seemed to also. As for location, its in Western(ish) Nassau and right off the LIE, super easy to find. Here are some pics - you can see what the atmosphere and room is like!

mine was at international delight cafe in RVC on sunrise hwy. simple but nice, any type of food and geat dessert. easy to get to

Mine was at the Davenport Press in Mineola - they have great packages for the shower. They include the chair and wishing well, and umbrella.
It was really nice and the staff were great.

I was just at a baby shower @ Pompei in W. Hempstead. They did do a great job...the food was amazing!

My shower was at the Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City! I think my mom paid about $30 per person, and it was PERFECT!! Everyone LOVED the food (I had the salmon... sooo yummy!). The room was bright and beautiful. And the champagne punch... let's just say I wish I had a bowl of it in front of me right now!

Mine was at the Inn at New Hyde Park. on Jericho Tpke.
It was beautiful. My sister threw it, so I don't know $$, but we had about 60 people. I know that the room can hold 75.

Caffe on the green in Bayside is great....i think they go for about 33 pp......
