I am just wondering, I was talking to my aunt the other day (she will probably be trying to help my MOHs with my shower since one is upsate and the other is currently out of the country). I really had wanted to have mine at my Dad's place (my mom had always said that was what she wanted to do for me) but, I have a feeling that it will be too may people to fit in his house. Well, my aunt really wants me to get her my list because she said it is very hard to get a place. (The wedding is in June so I guess they are looking at April - May to set it up). Anyway, have other people found it very hard to get a place? I think I'm looking at about 50 people. My cousin got married in Sept and my aunt said they had a really hard time finding a place for his wife's shower. Thanks

Re: Shower locations
I'm gonna go with pretty much anywhere from eastern Nassau to Central/Eastern Suffolk. (I actually live on the North Fork, my aunt is in Bayshore and my MOHs will most likely be staying in Nassau.)

What about The Village Crossroads by the Tanger outlets. I went there for a shower last year and it was great. Roomy and the food was delicious.

What about Papa Joe's? The food was good and the staff was nice.

Re: Shower locations
Thank you guys! I guess what I was mostly wondering though, was, was it hard to find places that were available? I mean, my wedding is only 4 1/2 months away so I am afraid that everyplace is booked already.
