shower locations in suffolk county?

my girlfriend just emailed me and asked if i knew of any inexpensive places for a baby shower in suffolk county. They either want to rent a nice space for a few hundred dollars or have it in a cute restaurant ... they are looking to spend around $20 pp .. maybe do a brunch someplace if it isn't in a rental space.. anyone got any ideas i can pass along??? I'm more farmiliar with nassua county and queens so i wasn't too much of a help. TIA

I just hosetd my sister's baby shower at Mario's in East Setauket. The food is AWESOME and it's reasonable at $18.95 a person. That included soup, salad, an appetizer and an entree. Drinks are extra.

The only downside is it only holds 30 people so if it's going to be a big shower you're out of luck.

30 ppl isnt' bad actually. She told me it is more of a sprinkle than a shower since it isn't her first child.. but she had her last baby 3.5 years ago (maybe more?) and she gave all of her stuff away or threw out what couldn't be used since she didnt plan on getting prego again..
My feeling is every baby deserves to be celebrated anyway.. why should you get the short end of the pink and blue stick just cause you didn't come first? lmao...

The Sea Haven in Lindenhurst. They are under 20.00 pp and they have everything on the menu from chicken and pasta to seafood.

I also say Silver Phesant in Lindy. Around 20 pp too.
