Shower News!

So some of you know that my shower isn't a surprise- I live at home and I hate surprises so my mother and I agreed to a non-surprise shower. What I know is the date and where it will be.

This morning my mom comes in to ask how many people are on my shower list, so I tell her, then I ask her why. She tells me she just 'wanted to know'.

Anyway, I was just eating lunch with my dad and he goes, 'so what are mom and grandma getting today for your shower?' Turns out, they are out doing something for my shower today. Probably invites, but my dad was too cute- he was like 'I thought since it wasn't a surprise, you knew!' He was laughing and begging me not to tell my mom that know

They can't even keep the secret part a secret!!!

awwwww- that is so cute.

Mines not a suprise either but my mom keeps slipping about some of the elements she was trying to keep underwraps. Last night she spilled the beans about my cupcake cake.

I told FH that when he asked my father, he better do it right before he asked me or the entire family may know before I do.

Dad would tell mom and mom would tell EVERYBODY!

my dad is the same way!! my shower is a surprise - and he let it slip that he helped with the invites! i played it off like i didn't hear him though...

my shower is taking place in august sometimes. part of that really sweet of ur mom for letting you know and your dad is funny

we are having my shower in early September...my mom has a lot going on where she works in the fall so she wanted to have it before things got nuts.
