Shower planning mode

Originally I really wanted my shower to be in October, I wanted it to be Halloween themed, but I have now made a compromise to help my mom out to save money, and we are doing it in September in her backyard. She has a good size backyard and its nicely landscaped with pretty flowers.

So I am full on shower planning mode with my sister (MOH) for this-so let the craziness begin.

Hey! That is a grrrreat idea! I wanted to do my Shower in the Fall also to save $$ - FMIL has a huge backyard but everyone was telling me it's too soon. I guess it's ok??? We made a tentative gust list and its about 85 people

How would end of August be?
When is too early?

i don't think that is too early - i am having mine 5 months before - if you want yours outside that is good enough of a reason to do it than

Sounds good to me!! I just feel bad because my sister and mom have been on a hunt for a location in NJ/Queens because FH side is mostly from Rockland area and things are NOT inexpensive! When you add tax and gruitities on top of the pp I just feel bad! Especially since they just had a graduation party for me.

I love how on point this post was Teri! I guess we all do have similar questions and concerns and you just helped answer one of mine!

I agree with RIta, I don't think thats too early, I would have done August too, but my family has too many things going on that month, so Sept works better. I think if its going to help save money and you have the space then go for it
